09:00 Parallel sessions on theme 1: Creative industries – growth engine for the future?
Closed session.
The prime ministers will divide into groups and participate in four discussions held in parallel sessions. Each session will hear three introductory contributions by experts, after which the prime ministers will discuss the topic, led by a moderator.

Sessions on theme 1:

  • Creative design thinking (Moderator: Ms Dóra Ísleifsdóttir)
  • Creating the future (Moderator: Ms Halla Tómasdóttir)
  • Creative learning (Moderator: Mr Ari Kristinn Jónsson)
  • Creative solutions (Moderator: Ms Guðfinna S. Bjarnadóttir)

10:15 Parallel sessions on theme 2: Simpler, smarter and innovative public services
Closed session.
The prime ministers will divide into groups and participate in four discussions held in parallel sessions. Each session will hear three introductory contributions by experts, after which the prime ministers will discuss the topic, led by a moderator.

  • System-level innovation (Moderator: Mr Kristján Leósson)

11:30 Lunch
Media representatives will be offered a light lunch in the media centre.

13:00 Closing Plenary and press conference
Open to media representatives. Prime ministers and experts will comment on the group discussions. Media representatives will have an opportunity to ask questions. Direct webcast from the plenary and the press conference.

14:00 End of Forum

The event’s opening plenary, closing plenary and press conference are open to accredited media representatives and it will also be possible to follow them via live webcasts. The working group sessions are closed.
